WKA Northeast Speedway Pavement Series   The WKA Northeast Speedway Pavement Series is a Connecticut based, member owned, nonprofit Corporation. The affairs of WKANESPS, Inc. are governed by a Board of Directors. Following are the current Board members:   ·        Frank Bondatti ·        Tom Bonsignore ·        Don DesRochers ·        Jim Doherty ·        Vinny Longobardi ·        Scott Petlock ·        Chuck Schmidt ·        Dan Stowell ·        Rory West   Its Connecticut Certification of Incorporation states the purpose to be promoted by the corporation:   ·        To provide opportunities for the sharing of the members’ common interest in recreational, safe, fun and affordable go-kart racing ·        To promote the sport of go-kart racing ·        To sanction, sponsor, and conduct go-kart races and related events ·        To conduct such racing events using generally accepted safety standards and regulations regarding the design, construction, and operation of racing go-karts ·        To provide communication and information to participants in such events ·        To own, maintain, and make available tools, equipment, timing systems, and supplies used in the operation of such events ·        To do anything incidental to and consistent with any of the forgoing ·        To carry out any other activity which may be lawfully carried out by a corporation organized under the Nonstock Corporation Laws of the State of Connecticut whether or not referred to those referred to in the forgoing sections   WKANESPS is funded by race entry fees and sponsorship income. No part of the organization’s net earning inures to the benefit of any person having a personal and private interest in the activities in the organization.
