Points will be awarded according to the provisions in the 2008 WKA Technical Manual Sections 800.1 through 809.4.
The best four out of five finishes will count toward year-end finishes.
The first race will be a 25 bonus point event.
The last race will be a 25 bonus point event.
Bonus points will be awarded for anyone who is entered in a class. They do not have to present to receive bonus points. Bonus points will be awarded even if a competitor is disqualified. Bonus points will not be awarded in the event of a disqualification with no drop.
Competitors must participate in at least four races to be eligible for year end banquet awards and WKA transfer points.
Rain Policy: WKANESPS will make every effort to allow practice and racing for finish positions. If qualifying is complete and the feature race is rained out, points will be awarded based on qualifying position. In the event that the race start is delayed, practice times may be shortened and the starting positions in the feature will be based on a drawing for positions. In the event of a complete rain-out, WKANESPS will award points based WKA Technical Manual TM 85 – 803.7.1. If a Sprint or Speedway event is rained out, 200 points will be awarded to each entrant.
